Last Friday, Denver Broncos left tackle Garett Bolles shared a video on Twitter showing the workouts he’s been doing this offseason.
After reporting for organized team activities in May, Bolles was asked during a Zoom press conference if he’s approaching this offseason similar to last year.
“Nothing has changed, man,” Bolles said on May 24. “I hit the offseason [hard], and I’m the strongest and fastest I’ve ever been. This was a great offseason for me. Nothing changed. I did exactly the same thing. I have bad OCD, so once I find something that I love to do, I continue to do it because I feel like it’s preparation for me.
“My wife has helped me. We’re still down in California. Life is good, I can’t complain. I’m just ready to see what I do this year.”
After struggling early in his career, Bolles had a breakout season in 2020, earning second-team All-Pro honors. He’s now locked in as Denver’s starting left tackle, and the Broncos will have a competition for the right tackle job this summer.
