Verizon – Verizon drops NBC12, CW Richmond from lineup amid negotiations
Until its current negotiation with Verizon, NBC12 had successfully concluded – without any disruption – every carriage agreement with every operator for more than five years. In an attempt to reach a similarly successful result with Verizon, Gray offered to extend its existing agreement to allow both sides to continue to negotiate without disruption to viewers. Verizon refused, instead preferring to go dark when the ball dropped on New Year’s Eve.
