RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – A burglar used a rock to interrupt a glass window to enter a Walgreens on Rushmore Highway early within the morning on Nov. 27.
A deputy with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Workplace arrived as 28-year-old Cameron Salway of Fast Metropolis was leaving with a bag filled with the shop’s stock. The deputy chased Salway on foot for 2 blocks.
Together with different officers, Salway was detained. Upon looking his backpack, regulation enforcement discovered methamphetamine and related paraphernalia.
Salway was positioned beneath arrest for third Diploma Housebreaking, Obstruction, Possession of a Managed Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia earlier than being transported to the Pennington County Jail.
