JACKSON (CBS13) — An Amador County suspect was arrested Thursday night time after deputies noticed him crawl from beneath a car in a Walmart car parking zone.
The Amador County Sheriff’s Workplace says deputies had been doing an space test on the Walmart on Wicklow Approach once they noticed Joseph Thurston emerge from beneath a car.
Deputies discovered Thurston, a Tracy resident, was on probation out of San Joaquin County. After additional investigation, deputies say Thurston had already stolen a catalytic converter and was making an attempt to take away one other.
Thurston was cited on costs together with theft, possession of housebreaking instruments, drug paraphernalia and tear gasoline, in addition to tampering with a car.
