DAXOASV2KDKHQOYI”>Officers responded to a residence Dec. 29 after two men got into an argument after one accused the other of masturbating on a blanket. The situation was adjusted, and officers advised the resident to put surveillance cameras in the home and to begin the eviction process. He was also told how he could obtain a civil protection order.
Stolen vehicle: Cordova Road
A resident reported Dec. 29 her vehicle was stolen from her driveway during the overnight hours. She said it was unlocked with the keys inside of it. A neighbor said her video doorbell activated at 3:42 a.m. and two males were seen exiting a white Chevy Impala. She said one tried to open a vehicle in her driveway and the other went to a home across the street.
A resident on Monterey Drive also reported seeing the same vehicle on surveillance video.

A resident reported Dec. 29 that his vehicle was stolen from his driveway overnight. He said it was unlocked with the keys inside of it.
Theft: Mayfield Road
A Cleveland man, 45, was charged with trespassing and theft after shoplifting at Walmart and Circle K Dec. 28. He stole $550 worth of merchandise from Walmart and a bottle of wine from Circle K.

A woman struck and broke a mirror on a cabinet door at LaBarberia Institute of Hair Dec. 29 after she was told she was being expelled from the program because she was suspected of engaging in a drug transaction. She also threw two laptop computers to the ground and yelled at other students. The Euclid woman, 24, was charged with criminal damaging and trespassed from the location.
Theft: Golden Gate Boulevard
Officers responded to Best Buy Dec. 29 after a shoplifter ran from the store with a security camera system. A suspect was located in a vehicle trying to avoid them, but loss prevention said he was not a suspect. The Bedford Heights man, 46, was arrested for improper handling of a firearm in a vehicle after a loaded gun was found. It was then discovered the theft suspect had been dropped off at the store in that vehicle. He was located inside Costco, where he had stolen wireless headphones. The Euclid man, 36, was charged with theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was turned over to the Adult Authority Parole on a felony sexual assault warrant. The security camera system was found hidden behind a bush at the Comfort Inn.
Burglary: Mallard Drive
A man, 41, was arrested at Mayland Towers Dec. 25 after he showed a gun in the presence of two women that invited him in for dinner. The women said the man was asked to leave because he was making sexual advances. They said he returned from his apartment with a gun and said nobody would be getting away. The man, who appeared to be drunk, said he did not have a gun although one was clearly located in his apartment.
Disturbance: Mayfield Road
A woman was said to have threatened a cashier at Walmart Dec. 26 when her snack cakes rang up for $1 more than she expected. A manager allowed the lesser price but the Euclid woman, 29, continued to cause a disturbance and was uncooperative with police. She was charged with trespassing since she refused to leave when asked.

A man, 31, was arrested for domestic violence Dec. 28 after he punched the mother of his six-day-old child while she was holding the child at their Gates Mills Place apartment.
