A Michigan man was arrested after he tried to steal a TV from Walmart in Joliet and threatened to stab an worker who confronted him, police mentioned.
About 8:53 p.m. Sunday, officers went to the Walmart at 2424 West Jefferson St. in response to a report of a retail theft, in keeping with a Joliet police information launch.
When the officers arrived, they decided Craig Albright, 50, of the 4900 block of West Columbia Street in Mason took a TV from the shop and walked exterior, passing the final level of buy with out paying for it, police mentioned.
A loss prevention worker for Walmart tried to cease Albright on the door, police mentioned.
“Albright produced a pocket knife and threatened to stab the employee,” police mentioned.
