The Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Monday afternoon with shares of Microsoft and Visa seeing positive gains for the index. Shares of Microsoft
are contributing about a third of the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow
is trading 331 points (1.1%) higher. Microsoft‘s shares are up $9.05 (3.9%) while those of Visa have risen $5.79, or 3.0%, combining for an approximately 98-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Intel
and Walt Disney
A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.58-point swing.
