Zoom – You can now report crime via Zoom in Redlands – Redlands Daily Facts
The Redlands Police Department has added the option to report non-emergency crime in the city via video conferencing.
Zoom reporting is being added to online, in-person and phone options, according to a news release from the department.
To report a crime with either online option, it must have occurred within the city limits with no known suspects, and it must not be an emergency, nor have occurred on a state highway.
To make an online report go to cityofredlands.org/report-crime and either schedule a video conference or fill out a form.
Video conferences are available from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The reporting party will receive a Zoom link for the meeting during which an officer will take the information.
Non-emergency crimes can also be reported by calling 909-798-7681, ext. 1.
Call 911, to report emergencies or crimes in progress.
