After the whole week marked by closures, this Friday both the Tokyo and Shanghai exchanges reopened. But it didn’t help to bring the market up. Indeed, only the Nikkei 225 was in green in this session.

Among the top 5 performers for Hong Kong, 3 of them were considered top gainers because they didn’t lose more than 0.5%.

Japanese Nikkei 225, up by 0.69%, and major loss reported from Shiseido , Rakuten Inc , Softbank Group Corp. , all of them respectively down by -9.29%, -5.01%, -2.27%

Top Gainers for the session have been Tokyo Electric Power Co., Inc.  with a variation of 16.23%, and Komatsu  with an upward movement of 8.52%.

Among the most active stocks of the day we have Tokyo Electric Power.  16.23% with an overall volume of 116.28M and Mitsubishi UFJ Fina.  3.08% with a total number of exchanged stocks around 52.42M. Among the most traded as well was Toyota Motor which signed a 2.15% result.

Hong Kong index – Hang Seng, down of -3.81% and major loss reported from China Resources Beer Holdings , Country Garden Services , Country Garden Holdings , all of them respectively down of -10.31%, -9.94%, -9.67%

Top Gainers for the session have been Lenovo Group  with a variation of 2.08% and Power Assets with an upward movement of 0.37%.

Among the most active stocks of the day, we have China Construction .  -1.79% with an overall volume of 274.00M and Bank of China H  -1.30% with a total number of exchanged stocks around 192.66M. Among the most traded as well CNOOC  which signed a -1.09% result.”

Australian index S&P/ASX 200 down of -2.16% and major loss reported from Xero , Virgin Money , Idp Education Ltd , all of them respectively down of -9.07%, -8.47%, -8.18%

Top Gainers for the session have been Polynovo with a variation of 4.05% and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare with an upward movement of 2.27%.

Among the most active stocks of the day, we have Pilbara Minerals Lt.  -3.53% with an overall volume of 38.99M and Telstra Corporation.  -0.75% with a total number of exchanged stocks around 22.68M. Among the most traded as well, Santos  which signed a -1.59% result.”

The Indian Nifty 50, down of -1.63%, and major losses reported from Bajaj Finance , Divi’s Labs , Shree Cements , all of them respectively down of -4.90%, -4.58%, -4.44%

Top Gainers for the session have been Hero MotoCorp  with a variation of 2.47% and Tech Mahindra with an upward movement of 2.17%.

Among the most active stocks of the day we have ITC  1.76% with an overall volume of 34.48M and Tata Motors  -4.16% with a total number of exchanged stocks around 25.14M. Among the most traded as well SBI  which signed a 0.82% result.”

Chinese Shanghai Composite Index, down of -2.16% and major loss reported from China Enterprise , Tande Co Ltd , Jiangsu Chunlan Refrigerating , all of them respectively down of -10.11%, -10.07%, -10.06%

Top Gainers for the session have been Tian Jin Global  with a variation of 10.05% and Solareast Holdings with an upward movement of 10.05%.

Among the most active stocks of the day, we have Shandong Xinchao En.  2.40% with an overall volume of 739.87M and Nanjing Tanker at 6.34% with a total number of exchanged stocks around 518.23M. Among the most traded as well is China State Construction.  which resulted in a -3.55% result.”
