With an almost endless number of subscription streaming services available these days, it can be difficult to choose which television series to watch next. A constant barrage of adverts for the latest shows and films with wide ranges of quality levels often leads many of us to turn instead to reruns of our favourites from years gone by.
However, there are several fantastic new releases that are worth watching and you really can’t go wrong with March 2022’s introduction of 10-episode series WeCrashed. So, before you replay your favourite episodes of Friends while you zone out and spend your time reading guides on Blackjack.me, you should probably check out one of the most exciting new additions to Apple TV+.

What is WeCrashed?
WeCrashed is an Apple TV+ drama that is based on the factual story of a company called WeWork Inc., a provider of coworking spaces. WeWork found itself in headlines around the world in 2019 due to the fact that the company was one of the most valuable start-up businesses in the world but failed miserably with its initial public offering (IPO) and suffered what The New York Times described as “an implosion unlike any other in the history of start-ups”.
WeCrashed gives us a peek into the background of a company that from the outside looked to be one of the fastest growing around, but from the inside was dealing with narcissistic entrepreneurs, tequila fuelled parties, major lay-offs, rapid firings of staff, unhappy customers, mice infestations, sexual harassment claims, unlimited beer policies, and much more.
Who stars in WeCrashed?
If the crazy storylines aren’t enough to grab your attention, WeCrashed also boasts a star-studded cast, including Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway as Adam Neumann, co-founded of WeWork, and Rebekah Neumann, Adam’s wife.
It is also now revealed that Leto spoke directly to Neumann in the preparation of his portrayal, reflecting on the meeting Leto said of Neumann that he “has this tempo and an assertive way of speaking, with a lot of passion and I’ve never had that much dialogue before. Speech after speech. He was a verbose person. Speech was the way he shared his vision.” He also confessed that “I did tell him I’m never going to be him, that it was an interpretation. I hoped to capture some spirit of who he was at that time. And I figured that he already lived through it once. There’s really no point in looking at it again.”
How has WeCrashed been received?
WeCrashed currently has an Average Audience Score of 74% on Rotten Tomatoes, with many reviews praising the dramatic love story surrounding main characters Adam and Rebekah Neumann.
However, the show hasn’t managed to avoid criticism, and sections of Israeli media suggested the Neumann’s were portrayed as “aggressive, dishonest and manipulative”. Nevertheless, these apparent character traits have been suggested by others to be an indication of why WeWork seemingly developed a reckless corporate culture which paved the way for its ultimate downfall.
Is WeCrashed worth watching?
WeCrashed is certainly worth watching and its insight into the incredible rise and subsequent fall of such a well-known company as WeWork combined with the drama and wild love story of one of its co-founders makes for a perfect blend. Of course, it must be stressed that this is a drama that is created to entertain and, therefore, some of the details may be somewhat exaggerated, but there is no doubt that a company that grew as fast as WeWork must have had some major issues in the background to see such a dramatic fall.
Where can you watch WeCrashed?
WeCrashed can be watched with a subscription to Apple TV+. The series premiered on March 18th 2022, and will conclude on April 22nd 2022.
