Short-term and long-term car rentals are available at Avis Budget Car. Several vehicles are available for rent at the company, including economy cars, luxury cars, SUVs, and vans.
A range of services is offered by Avis Budget Car, including airport pickups and drop-offs, roadside assistance, and 24-hour customer service.
Reason to avoid
In the spring of 2020, Covid restrictions forced Avis and other car rental companies to sell off their fleets, as demand was low and cash was scarce. The economic recovery accelerated faster than expected, and consumers’ desire to get out and about led to a shortage of rental cars for rental companies.
When travelers attempt to rent a car, they have to pay sky-high prices. Avis, for example, will see higher revenue even though this isn’t ideal for customers.
