The S&P signed new year lows during this starting week session.
A negative session in which the market during the day fell around 1%. During the last minutes, there has been a fight between bulls and bears, won from bulls.
At the closure of the market session, S&P gained +0.57%, NASDAQ+1.72% and Dow Jones Industrial Average +0.26%.
The Tech sector saw a mixed day between red and green with Amazon (+0.18%), Google (+1.91%), Meta (+5.32%). The rest of the sector saw Netflix again in the green (+4.78%), Twitter (+0.24%), Snap (+3.72%), and Paypal +4.09%.
Boeing tried to recover the loss during the last week but lost around 0.15%.
The other Air companies moved up on the market: United Airlines stock (-0.61%), Alaska Air Group (-2.45%) and American Airlines (-1.12%).
Energy stocks ended mixed: Baker Hughes (-0.35%), APA(-0.78%), Devon Energy Corporation (+0.31%) Schlumberger NV (+0.26%), Halliburton (+0.95%).
The financial sector signed off from the fall of JPM and in general they went mixed: Visa (-0.75%), American Express (-1.77%), JPMorgan Chase (-3.26%), and Goldman Sachs (+1.61%).
Global Payments fell more than 9% despite a good reporting above the expectations.
Moodys after cutting its full-year earnings went down around 5%
