Ethereum is shy on the threshold of 3000$, after yesterday price movements seemed to pursue the upward path, today is retreating losing -5.24% and watching the 3 thousand dollars obstacle closer.
At press time the pair ETH/USD is exchanged at 2,997.86$.
In the last hours has been announced the project to produce a film that will explore the birth and rise of Ethereum being led by Scott Free Productions, an award-winning company founded by director Ridley Scotts. Their 2000 movie The Gladiator became one with many Academy Awards won for Best Picture so their involvement in this new crypto venture can’t hurt.
The film, based on the book “The Infinite Machine” by Camila Russo, will narrate the story of Vitalik Buterin, an extremely gifted 19-year old autodidact who saw the promise of blockchain when it was still in its early stages. He spent hours researching and reading about computer science topics to develop Ethereum which has been a great success so far.
In the meanwhile, Lido Finance, a third party staking pool for Ethereum 2.0 is being targeted by the community for what it calls an “unwavering commitment to being a monopoly,” which accusers say hurts Ethereum’s status as a decentralized blockchain.
