The price of Solana has been on a steady decline for the past few months, with no signs that it will recover any time soon. This year alone we’ve seen quick Recoveries in comparison to other coins- though not as dramatic or sudden drops like Bitcoin.
With the coin trading below $100 in the last days is one of the worst-performing cryptos. After peaking at nearly $180 in January, it’s now trading below 100 ($97). The trajectory looks ugly for SOL users, losing around 50% of its value in only 4 months.
As well as the other cryptocurrencies experienced an unexpected crash following the news of a rate hike. At one point, Solana was looking comfortable with its $120 price target but after being informed about this development it fell down heavily to around 50% off from where we last saw them before their collapse.
At press time Solana is trading at 101.41 USD (-6.82%)
